FAQ
How do AB2000L work?

AB2000L can be paired with different hosts, such as SolarFlow 1600 AC+, SolarFlow 800 Pro 2, SolarFlow 800 Plus, SolarFlow 800, SolarFlow Hyper 2000, SolarFlow Hub 2000 and ACE 1500, to form a plug-in solar energy storage system. The host automatically adjusts the charging and discharging of AB2000L based on user settings in the Zendure app.

- When the solar output is greater than your household demand, the host will store the excess in the battery.

- When the solar output is less than your household demand, the host will instruct the battery to discharge and supply power to the household in coordination with the power from the solar panels.

- At night when there is no solar power, energy stored in the battery will be used to power your home.

- When the battery is full, solar input is greater than 20W, and actual output to the home is at or above 30W, the system will automatically switch over to bypass mode and the battery will stop charging and discharging.

When using multiple batteries together, how do I calibrate SOC?

To ensure the accuracy of battery capacity readings, the host will automatically calibrate the batteries (charge to 100%) every month.

Can AB2000L and AB2000X be used in combination?

Yes, all four batteries are compatible with one another and can be stacked in any configuration of up to 4 batteries total.

How many AB2000L can be connected to SolarFlow 1600 AC+, SolarFlow 800 Pro 2, SolarFlow 800 Plus, SolarFlow 800, SolarFlow Hyper 2000, SolarFlow Hub 2000 and ACE 1500?

SolarFlow 1600 AC+, SolarFlow 800 Pro 2, SolarFlow 800 Plus, SolarFlow 800, SolarFlow Hyper 2000, SolarFlow Hub 2000 and ACE 1500 can support up to four batteries in parallel, the maximum total capacity of your system (using four total AB2000L and/or AB2000X) is 7680Wh.

What are the battery types and lifespans of AB2000L?

AB2000L use automotive-grade lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery cells. The batteries have a cycle life of 6,000 with 70% capacity remaining after.

How does the self-heating function of AB2000L work?

The battery is equipped with an self-heating membrane, which automatically activates when it is below 0℃ and warms up the cells using AC power pre-heating, ensuring that the batteries can still be charge in temperatures as low as -20℃.

If the environmental temperature is too cold, at what temperature will the batteries begin to work again?

To prevent the repeated cycling of the self-heating function, the batteries will resume charging once the internal temperature is above 0℃.

How do I activate the self-heating function of AB2000L?

The battery's self-heating function is fully automatic. If the battery does not start the self-heating function at temperatures below 0°C, please contact us.

What is the operating temperature range of AB2000L?

Charging: 0℃ to 55℃

Automatic Self-heating: -20℃ to 0℃

Discharging: -20℃ to 60℃

Owen M. ★★★★★

Charging the AB2000L through my SolarFlow 800 Pro 2 at full sun took less time than I'd budgeted for, which was a nice surprise. The capacity feels genuinely massive for my setup, and the connection was completely seamless.

Leo R. ★★★★★

The modular pairing with the SolarFlow 800 Pro 2 was surprisingly seamless—just clicked in and it recognized the extra capacity instantly. I've doubled my backup runtime for the evening load without any extra wiring headaches.

Kevin ★★★★★

Set it up on a cloudy afternoon and by evening it was already pulling in enough solar to run my shed lights and charge the phone. The modular pairing with the SolarFlow host was surprisingly straightforward once I checked the FAQ. Solid buy for anyone wanting quiet, no-fuss backup power.
